She was predeceased by: her parents, Roger Shoemaker and Louise Shoemaker; her daughter Edith White; and her siblings, Roger Shoemaker, Jr. and Marie Ganbin.
She is survived by: her children, Ralph Hurley III (Dawn) and Patricia Russ; her grandchildren, Ashley Hurley Appel (Brian Appel), Michael Wolford, Jr. and Nathan Wolford; her great grandchildren, Colton, Austin Appel and Bryson Wolford; and her sisters, Ruth Delph, Helen Miller and Joan Mills.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Dellinger Funeral Homes (159 N Main St, Woodstock, VA 22664). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association in memory of Doris.
