She was predeceased by: her husband Edward Crone; and her parents, Earl Strailman and Elvie Strailman (Nicewarner). She is survived by: her children, Charles Crone, Thomas Crone (Kris) and Donald Crone (Regina); her grandchildren, Charles Crone Jr., Michael Crone, Heather Johnson, Amanda Keilholtz, Catherine Nelson, Adam Crone, Tim Clark and Aaron Crone; and her pets, Ginger and Stella. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Doris' name to St. Luke's Lutheran Church, 5463 Jefferson Pike, Frederick.
