He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Alonza Shoemaker, Sr. and Christine Eudora Shoemaker (Clopper); and his siblings, Susan K. Seals, Craig E. Shoemaker and Raymond L. Shoemaker.
He is survived by: his spouse Kaye Elaine Shoemaker; his children, Christine Clark (Mike), Patrick Shoemaker (Michelle) and Tara Shoemaker (Jason); his grandchildren, Kathryn Dock (Nathan), Mallory Shoemaker, Margaret Shoemaker and Alexis Clark; and his siblings, Marilyn D. McGlothin, Thomas W. Shoemaker and Tina L. Hensley.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Stauffer Funeral Home-Frederick (1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD 21702). Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM at the same location.
