It is with great sadness that we announce the death of DeVaughn Raymond Nelson (Frederick, Maryland), born in Litchfield, Minnesota, who passed away on August 28, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond August Nelson and Malvina Henrietta Nelson (Schoolmeester); and his sister Kathleen Nelson. He is survived by: his wife Emily Nelson; his children, Christopher Nelson (Susan), John Nelson (Karen), Colleen Devereaux (James), Theresa Difato (Jack) and Katherine Zanchettin (Leo); and his siblings, Lyle, Gwen, Richard, Philip and JoAnn. He is also survived by 27 grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
