She was predeceased by: her parents, William Robert Diggs, Sr. and Pearl Elizabeth Diggs; her brother William Diggs, Jr.; and her daughter Annette Mitchiner. She is survived by: her siblings, Shirley Foreman (Diggs), Betty McIntyre (Diggs), Irene Camera (Diggs), Theresa Williams (Diggs), Earl Diggs, Lenny Diggs, James Diggs, Austin Diggs, Catherine McWilliams (Diggs), Christina McDaniel (Diggs), Delores Naylor (Diggs), Doris Kane (Diggs), Thomas Diggs, Martha Haynesworth (Diggs) and Fred Diggs; her children, Zella O'Neal (Mitchiner), Rux Mitchiner, Jr., William Doran, III and Amos Brown, Jr.; and her grandchildren, Hakeem Simmons, Falisha Perry, Tyshika Perry, Renita Mitchiner, Nathan Mitchiner, Nelson Ricks, Ebony Conyers, Kimberly Ricks, William Doran, IV, Desmond Doran, Amos Brown, III and Adrien Brown. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; and many dear nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
