He is survived by: his parents, Dorothy Rice DePalma and Lawrence David Rice; his wife Karen Takuski Rice; his stepson Cavon Wilcox; his son-in-law Robert Luther (Abigail); his siblings, Gwen Rice Edwards (Kenny Edwards) of Smithsburg, Maryland and Galen Rice (Marian Rice) of Midlothian, Virginia; his siblings-in-law, Cheryl Takuski-Thomas (David Thomas) and Michael Takuski; and his nephews, Jason Beard Ogle, Brian Ogle (Kaitlyn Ogle) and Joshua Rice.
