She was predeceased by: her parents, Col. Robert A Barnes and Virginia L. Barnes; and her brother Bobby Barnes. She is survived by: her siblings, Barry Barnes and Shauna Barnes; and her adoptive son David Schust (Jessica). She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions in Cynthia's name to the Marion County Humane Society of West Virginia.
