Smith; his grandson John David Smith; and his siblings, Dorothy Clark, Ruth Williams, Helen Muse, Anne Fisher and William M. Smith Jr..
He is survived by: his son Philip H. Smith (Beth); his daughters-in-law, Sheila Gallin, Dorothy O. Smith and Cathy Williams (Larry); his grandchildren, Michael F. Smith (Mindy), Courtney Smith, Stephen W. Smith (Christina), Dorothy S. Ohl (Malcolm), Jeremy Smith (Sara) of Peter, F. X, Amanda Smith and Matthew Smith; his sister-in-law Louise Talley; and his close friend Ed Schoder. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
