He was predeceased by: his father Robert P. Marendt, Sr.; his sister Betty Jane McClellan (James McClellan); and his stepson Dennis Hoffman. He is survived by: his wife Pauline H. Marendt of Frederick; his daughters, Susan Johnson and Libby Cleaveland (Brad); his stepdaughter Sandra Murphy (Dennis); his granddaughters, Amanda Butler (Tim), Brittany Raymor (Cody) and Jennifer Johnson (Omar Hernandez); his stepgrandchildren, John Murphy (Karla) and Erin Long (John); and his friends, Don Moran and Dean Dahms. He is also survived by 3 great grandchildren.
