We bid farewell to Bernard Willis of Frederick, Maryland, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 10, 2024 at the age of 73. Bernard touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Luther and Genevieve Helene Hammond Willis; and his siblings, Wanda Willis, William T. Willis, Booker T Willis, Emory Willis (Joe), Jerome Willis, Robert Willis, Kenneth Willis, Merritt Willis, Byron Willis, Shirley Willis and Herbert Lee Willis.

He is survived by: his daughters, Bernitta Willis and Geornese Willis; the mother of his children Sheila Willis of Frederick; his grandson Noah Willis; his siblings, Emily Willis Dorm (Charles) of Westminster, Genevieve Willis of Westminster, Linda Singh (Raj) of Westminster, Wayne Willis, Sr. (Charlotte) of New Windsor, Harold Willis (Renee) of Frederick and Hammond Willis (Charlotte) of Frederick; his sisters-in-law, Hazel Willis, Nancy Willis, Earlene Willis and Tammy Willis; and his friends, Lynn Sewell, Hanford Thomas (Wolf), Delores Whiten-Whims, Jeffrey Whiten, Wayne Whiten, Charles Whims (Charlie), Larry Gee, Andy Sewell, Kevin Brightful, Chester Crews, Arlene Blaylock and Greg Plummer. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.

Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Stauffer Funeral Home (1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD 21702). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
