She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Harold Beane and Martha Beane; her husband Thomas G. Slater; her siblings, Bob (Wanda) and Becky; her nephew Michael (Beth); and her grandchildren, Maddie, Aidan, Elena, Emily, Garrett, Sophia and Julianne.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Keeney and Basford Funeral Home (106 E Church St, Frederick, MD 21701). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Paul's Episcopal Church (1914 Ballenger Creek Pike, Point of Rocks, MD 21777).
