He is survived by : his wife Sandra Hofmeister; his parents, John Hofmeister and Emma Hofmeister; his siblings, Johnny Hofmeister III and Jennifer Lassen; and his nephews, Joshua, Tyler, Trent and Arne. He is also survived by his aunts, uncles, many cousins, and close friends.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, June 19th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Stauffer Funeral Home-Frederick (1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD 21702).

In place of flowers, Sandra has requested donations be made in Andrew's name to the National Organization of Rare Disorders (https://rarediseases.org).
