She was predeceased by: her husband Fred Takuski; her parent Richard Rutledge; and her sisters, Ethel Brownley, Nancy Brown and John B. Rutledge.
She is survived by: her parent Annie Mae Rutledge (Bishop); her children, Michael Takuski (Cindy) of Keedysville, Karen Rice (David) of Frederick and Cheryl Thomas (David) of Thurmont; and her grandchildren, Cavon Wilcox, David Thomas, Devin Thomas and Brittany Thomas. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Mrs. Takuski's name to the South End Baptist Church, 506 Carrollton Dr, Frederick, MD 21701 or to the FSK American Legion Post 11, 1450 Taney Ave, Frederick, MD 21702.
