We are sad to announce that on December 9, 2022, at the age of 86, Addie McCoy Childs in Frederick, Maryland, born in Williamsburg, West Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Goldie McCoy (Jackson) and John Omer McCoy; and her siblings, Wanda Perry, James McCoy, Warren McCoy and Wayne McCoy.

She is survived by: her husband John Hurst Childs; her sons, John Matthew Childs (Liudmila) and Daniel McCoy Childs (Selina); her grandchildren, Lillian Childs, Nathan Childs and Andrei "AJ" Childs; and her siblings, Barbara Shannon, Linda Germeroth and Robert McCoy. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
