He was predeceased by: his parents, William C. Brown, Sr. and Marie Nelson of Virginia; and his daughter Marquee. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Crews of Lynchburg; his daughter Frieda; his sisters, Margo Heard of Alexandria and Sandra Lee Blocker (Henry); his grandchildren, Mignon, Christian (Ron), Charlie, Hanna (Caleb), Stephen, Timothy (Annette) and Chole; his siblings-in-law, Stanley Crews (Shirley), Samuel Crews (Joanne) of Fort Washington, Elizabeth Mayberry of Madison Heights, Deborah Penn (Bo) and Linda Moore of Lynchburg; and his godchildren, Tangelia Baily, Brittany Moore, Robert Byars, William, Patrick Shaw and Maurice Bowie. He is also survived by loving nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
