It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Valeria Thompson of Fort Washington, Maryland, who passed away on September 24, 2023, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She is survived by: her daughters, Hazel D. Knight (James) and Jeanette Smith; her siblings, Azieree Singletary, Dorothy Finch, Catherine Hall, Curtis and Cornelius Leonard; and her grandchildren, Shawn Dixon and Vincent Knight. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
