He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Warden Carpenter and Fanny Lenore Buchanan Carpenter; his wife Arvella Rinker Carpenter; his sons, John Carpenter (Joanna) of Elkridge, MD and Paul Carpenter (Michelle) of Viera, FL.; his siblings, Linda DeShon of Nashville, Jeanie Gargano (David) of East Liverpool, Gary Carpenter (Dinah) of Chester and Dave Carpenter (Quy) of Satellite Beach, FL.; and his grandchildren, Allison, Peter, Hannah, Emma and Mac Carpenter.
