She was predeceased by: her husband James R. Austin Sr.; and her child Terry Austin. She is survived by: her children, Wanda Tardy (Edward), James Austin Jr. and Cecelia Royster; her siblings, Ruby Jean Lawrence and Lewis Austin; her sisters-in-law, Mary Rhodes, Marion Sneed and Louise Barmore; and her children, Edward Bowles, Cheryl Rice and Jennifer Cobb. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, the service and burial will be private.
