She was predeceased by: her parents, Dock Sprowl and Lillie Mae Sprowl (Paul Barnes); her son Derrick Barnes; and her siblings, Mattie Mae Wright, Dock Sprowl Jr., John Sprowl, James Authur Sprowl, Joe Nelson Sprowl, Marie Sprowl-Harrison and Lillie Ruth Sprowl.
She is survived by: her children, Gregory Sprowl (Dana), Vinson Barnes and Andrea Barnes; her grandchildren, Danté Barnes (Marcia), Brittany Acors, Alexis Sprowl, Keoskie Johnson and Keoshis Johnson; her great grandchildren, Kamarie Barnes, Kamyra Lewis, Ahzariyah Barnes, Tahj Acors and Khalil Barnes; and her siblings, Esther Spearman, Louvenia Norman (Raymond), Joyce Adams (Robert) and Richard Sprowl (Mae Helen) of Greenwood. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
