He was predeceased by: his wife Lorraine Capps; his grandson Adam; and his parents, Jesse Capps and Elsie Capps. He is survived by: his children, John Jr. (Terry), David, Lynn Capps-Mohn and Christine Capps; his grandchildren, Allen (Jessica), Robin, Stefanie and Rae Ann; his great grandchildren, Joseph of Hailey, Ala, Alexzandria, Brianna, Devynn and Sloane; and his sister June Drewer of Crisfield, MD. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
