Catherine Grimes Obituary

We are sad to announce that on August 24, 2020, at the age of 84, Catherine Grimes of Fort Howard, Maryland, born in York, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Dale Grimes Sr.; her children, Dale Grimes Jr. (Louise), Judith Bechtel (Jay) and William Grimes (Anita); her grandchildren, Elizabeth (Jeremy Shankle), Mary (Craig Fadel), Andrew Grimes, Jay Bechtel (Nicole), Jayson Bechtel (Victoria) and Jillian Bechtel; her great grandchildren, Clara, Melody, Colton Fadel and Huck Bechtel; and her parents, Beth Shankle and Jeremy Shankle.

Face masks and social distancing are required at the funeral home and cemetery.

The family requests, that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to Fort Howard Community Church 9128 Howard Avenue.
