It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter E. Hunt Jr. of Forest Hill, Maryland, who passed away on February 5, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter E. Hunt, Sr. and Hilda; his brothers, John and George Hunt; his sons, James and Richard; and his granddaughter Sydney Crouse.
He is survived by: his wife Mary E. (Lane); his children, Mary Sporre (Scott), Anne Hunt, Walter (Susan), Sandra Crouse (James), Dr. Christina Dixon (Kevin), Noel Hunt and Karen Miller (William); and his grandchildren, Olen D. Smith, III, Jaimie Caldwell (Jennifer), Holly Fox (Thomas), Ashley Hunt, Brianna Hunt, Carley Hunt, Alysia Ciurca, Carson Hunt, Kylie Hunt, Jacob Crouse (Teresa), Jaden Dixon, Rachel Dixon, William R. Miller and Camden Miller.
Donations may be made in Walt's memory to Shriner's Hospitals for Children, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, or a charity of your choice.
