With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sandra Caldwell Allen in Forest Hill, Maryland, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 21, 2024 at the age of 85. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, William B. Caldwell and Mabel Culbertson Olwine; her brother William J. Caldwell; and her children, Glen Hewton (Leigh) of Tomball, TX, Doug Hewton (Donna) of Reading, PA, David Hewton (Joan) of Edgewood, MD, Joan Benz (Gregory) of Aberdeen, MD and Margaret Kessler (Skip) of Cincinnati, OH.. She was also cherished by ten grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Amedysis Hospice or Forest Hill Heights Assisted Living.
