She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick and Mildred; her husband Edward Herman Kappel; and her sisters, Jean Parker, Frances Thumma, Barbara Athey and Nancy Hembree.
She is survived by: her children, Stephen Kappel (Marty) of Jarrettsville and Susan Moeser (Tim); and her grandchildren, Zachary Moeser, Rebecca Kappel, Ian Moeser and Andrew Kappel.
