He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank and Zilla Clark (Thompson). He is survived by: his children, David Edward Mitchell, John Thomas Mitchell, Darren P. Mitchell, Richard Hicks, Perry Hicks, Pamela A. Talley and Deborah Hicks; his niece Janet Leedy (Larry); his brother F. Carroll Clark; and also Lexi. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren.
