With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Genevieve D. Byers of Forest Hill, Maryland, born in Nellysford, Virginia, who passed away on June 6, 2023 at the age of 90. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Genevieve D. Byers to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Norrison Dodd and Mary Mawyer Dodd of Virginia; her husband William Phillip Byers (Phil); and her son James. She is survived by: her children, Kathryn Byers (James Sullivan), Susan Kochenderfer (Andrew), Jennifer Simone (William), Pamela Buhidar (Michael), John Byers (Katherine), David Byers (Lynn), William Byers (Michelle) and Michael Byers; and her daughter-in-law Lisa Byers. She is also survived by 24 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
