He was predeceased by: his parents, John Henry Trail and Mary Elizabeth Trail (Schriever); his wife Irene Trail (Crawford); his brothers, John "Bob" Trail, Cecil "Bill" Trail and Darhl Trail; and his siblings-in-law, Mavis Snyder, Lorraine Shipley, Joan Crawford, Patricia Crawford, Wayne Purnell, Ray Crawford, Earl Crawford, Lester Crawford, Joe Harper and Herbert Snyder.
He is survived by: his daughter Lucille Irene "Lucy" Trail; his sisters, Ethel Clingerman (Vernon) and Viola Purnell; his sisters-in-law, Frances Trail, Peggy Trail, Shirley Trail, Pleasant Ruby and Vada Harper; and his favorite cows, Cherry and Katie. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Fairview Christian Cemetery (1751 Crooked Run Rd, Artemas, PA 17211). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Adams Family Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur Street, Cumberland, MD 21502 to assist with the expenses.
