He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Givens and Leona Givens; and his siblings, Ruth Jones, Madeline Smith, Earl Givens and Carlos Givens.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy M. Givens; and his children, Sherry Jones (P. J.), Denny Givens (Bonnie), Terry Givens (Jan), Joe Givens (Lynne) and Chuck Givens (Jen).
