He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon J. Ziemski, Sr. and Clara Potrzuski; his stepfather Joseph Potrzuski; his former wife Doris Ziemski; and his stepdaughter Jamie McCahan.
He is survived by: his wife Debora Ziemski (Higgs); his children, Lisa Kunert, Lee and Kristi Ziemski; his stepson Matt McCahan; his siblings, Leona, Regina, Valerian and Josephine; and his grandchildren, Olivia, Elisabeth, Ava, Emily, Jake and Brandon.
