With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joe Bankard of Finksburg, Maryland, who passed away on July 12, 2021 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Jessie Stine; his stepparent Jesse Stine; his sister Margaret Ward; his father George Edward Bankard, Sr.; and his stepmother Mary Elizabeth Bankard (Yingling).
He is survived by: his wife Mary Jane Bankard (Slorp); his daughters, Wanda Fackler (Daniel) of Taneytown and Thresa Schultz (Richard) of Winston-Salem, NC; his sisters, Martha Rill (Charles) of Manchester, Frances Lewis (Don) of Plant City, FL and Thelma Fernandez (Michael); his grandchildren, Jessica Haupt (Nicholas) of Manchester, Robert Dale Smith of Finksburg, Cheyenne Smith of Waynesboro, PA and Gabriel Pauley of Winston-Salem, NC; and his great grandchildren, Bentley, Raelynn and Warren.
