She was predeceased by: her parents, Karl Richard and Mildred Gayle Cartzendafner Higgs; her husband Leon John Ziemski, Jr. (Lee); and her daughter Jamie McCahan. She is survived by: her son Matthew McCahan (Shannan) of Westminster; her stepchildren, Lisa Kunert, Lee Ziemski and Kristi Ziemski; her siblings, Karl Higgs, Jr. of Frederick, Gayle Martin (Michael) of Manchester, Rebecca Quillen (Candace) of McSherrystown, PA. and Barbara Osborn (William) of Westminster; and her grandchildren, Brandon, Layla, Jaxon, Olivia, Elisabeth, Ava, Emily and Jake.
