She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Laufer and Mary Louise Laufer (Raver); and her husband Don Caples. She is survived by: her children, D. Jeff Caples (Robin) of McSherrystown, PA, Cindy Martin Sharkey (Stanley) of Westminster, MD, Bonnie J. C. Maki and Mom; her great grandchild Eloise Vassallo; her sisters, Mary L. Little of Port Deposit, MD and Kathy E. Theriault of Corina, ME; her brother-in-law Bill; and also Carolyn Heiland.
