He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard M. West Sr. and Margaret Oliver-West; his son Christopher Andrew West; his son-in-law Harry Hill; his brother-in-law Vito Pappano; and his pet Holly.

He is survived by: his wife Wanda; his children, Karen Boyce, Gregory West, Donna Hill, Brian West (Lisa), Cheryl West and Bernice West; his daughter-in-law Tammy Newberger (Danny); and his sister Patsy Pappano. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
