As Shirley departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Shirley may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Shirley leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carlton Baynard and Amanda Baynard (McCrackon); her husband George Wain, Sr.; and her children, Calvin Stevens, Jr. and Anissa Blizzard.
She is survived by: her daughter Jeanine Griffith. She is also survived by several grandchildren, a number of great-grandchildren, her two sisters, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Framptom Funeral Home (216 N Main St, Federalsburg, MD 21632). A memorial service was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location.
