She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Emerson Brown "Pop" and Bertie Mae Brown; and her stepmother Pearl Brown. She is survived by: her husband Daniel Staten; her siblings, Audrey Patterson, Ida Mae Brown, Elizabeth Jackson, Ella Milligan, Melvina Murray, James Brown, Thomas "Tit" Brown, William Brown and Alfred Brown; and her sisters-in-law, Catherine Brown (Pat), Alice Brown and Betty Ann Brown. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
