It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald Irenee Joseph Champagne of Federalsburg, Maryland, born in Alfred, Maine, who passed away on November 5, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerard Champagne and Hilda Kilda Blanchette Champagne; his wife Gertrude V. Champagne; his children, Ronald I. J. Champagne, Jr., Brian Keith Champagne and Wanda Louise Johnson; and his sister Muriel Rita D'auteuil.
He is survived by: his children, Anthony "Tony" W. Champagne (Angel) of Ridgely, Anne Marie Champagne of Columbia, MD, Rita Champagne Mathur of Frederick, MD and Tina Louise Champagne-George (Kenneth, Sr.) of Marydel, MD; and his brothers, Robert Champagne of Springvale, ME and Roger Champagne of Tampa, FL. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
