He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester H. Tucker and Grace M. Tucker (Owen); and his son James Tucker (J. B.). He is survived by: his wife Frances Kostkowski; his son Daniel Tucker of Tempe, AZ; his siblings, Charlotte Townend (Harold) of Hemet, CA and Randy Tucker (Diane) of Preston, MD; his daughter-in-law Beth Tucker; and his close friend Tommy Lepson. He is also survived by four grandchildren, three step-sons, two nephews.
