She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Phillips, Sr. and Ella Virginia Langrell Phillips; her husband Ronald "Smoky" Southard; her brother Edward S. Phillips, Jr.; and her granddaughter Patricia Louise Southard.
She is survived by: her sons, Jay Ronald Southard (Jennifer) of Seaford and Richard Alan Southard (Tracy) of Federalsburg; her granddaughters, Abigail Elizabeth Southard Bandarenko (Jack) and Natalie Erin Southard; and her brother Raymond L. Phillips (Connie).
