He is survived by: his sisters, Mary Cheezum of Preston and Carol Payne (David) of Federalsburg; his nephews, Thomas Cheezum II, Eric Cheezum, David Payne, Jr. and Dale Payne; and his former wife Barbara Moore Lord.
