It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Julia Katherine Burns of Federalsburg, Maryland, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 20, 2021, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Mansfield and Katherine Duffin Mansfield; her husband David Burns; her brother Ricky Mansfield; and her stepmother Janet L. Wheeler.
She is survived by: her children, Julia Hall (Brett) of Chestertown and David Burns Jr. of Federalsburg; her grandchildren, Katherine Alexander (Michael) of Kennedyville, MD, Lewis Hall (Kelley) of Federalsburg, Preston Hall of Federalsburg, Bradley Hall of Chestertown and Edward Burns of Texas; and her siblings, David Mansfield, Bucky Mansfield, Al Mansfield, Joanie Miller, Patty Stadden, Betty Richards and Claire Saunders. She is also survived by two great-grandchildren.
