He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira E. Berry and Minnie Stocks Berry; his wife Mary Floyd; his children, Sharon McVey and David Berry; and his sister Leola Keene.
He is survived by: his sons, John Berry (Nancy) of Baltimore and Michael Berry (Estelle) of Federalsburg; his grandchildren, Jason Berry, Michelle Parker and David Kron (Chrissy); and his great grandchildren, Dustin Kron and Faith Berry.
