She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Opher, Sr. and Helen Stanley Opher; her husband Carl Macer; and her siblings, Novella Morgan, Nathaniel Opher, Sr. and Carl Opher, Jr..

She is survived by: her siblings, Judy Hatton (Everett) of Hampton, VA, Carmen Opher of Cambridge, MD, Tony Hill of Baltimore, MD and Everett Kane of Annapolis, MD; her nieces and nephews, Gary Morgan, Anthony Morgan, Philomena Opher, Desiree Opher, Desire Opher, Gerard Banks, Chauncey Sanders II, Darrell Hatton, Everett Hatton, Jr., Jonathan Hatton, Marsha Opher, Julian Hatton, Jo'siah Opher and Ka'Leigh Opher; and her sister-in-law Anita Opher.
