He was predeceased by: his parent Henry Franz (Hilda Bee Kern); and his stepbrothers, John Kern and Jerome Kern. He is survived by: his parent Anna Mae Jump Franz; his spouses, Verthea Ann Gang and Ann Franz of Federalsburg; his daughters, Traci Franz-Corbin of Easton and Susan Paige Franz of Toronto; his grandchildren, Rowan A. Corbin and Benjamin Alan Corbin; and his sisters-in-law, Helen Kern and Diane Kern.
