She is survived by: her husband Richard Behrens of Greenwood, DE; her children, Diane Mielke of Denton, MD, Janice Teahan (Michael) of Mt Vernon, NY, Pamela Moore of Dunkirk, MD and Harry Moore (Rose) of Riva, VA.; and her brother Jack DuVall of Croom, MD.. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Betsy worked at the National Science Foundation before retiring to Delaware to spend time in her garden and with her family, particularly her grandchildren whom she adored.
