She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Elwood Friend, Estella Nichols and Peter H. Brown. She is survived by: her daughter Tiyerra Brown (Tevis); her grandchildren, Mecca Rue and Edynn; her parents, Charles Lawson and Rose Lawson; her grandmother Mary M. Brown; her sister Iyana Johnson; her brother-in-law Johnny; her siblings, Shanette Lawson and Charles Lawson II; her cousin April McDowell; her nephew Zaiyre Lake; her niece Janae Johnson; and her aunts, Josie Craft and Darlene Haynes. She is also survived by uncles, aunts, cousins, family and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the International House of Worship, Inc. (26321 Williamsburg Rd, Federalsburg, MD 21632).
