It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alesia Denise Macer (Federalsburg, Maryland), who passed away on June 2, 2023, at the age of 51, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Alphonso Macer Sr.; and her siblings, Alphonso Macer Jr. and Sherry Turner. She is survived by: her parent Loistine Jolley (Cambridge); her daughter La'Teasha Macer (Cambridge, MD); her grandchildren, Zy'Meir Wilson, Cairo Wallace, Ace Macer and Chase Macer (Cambridge MD); her children, Ny'Kia Ames and George Ames (Cambridge, MD); her siblings, Terry Turner (Georgia), Bridgette Macer (Delaware), Towanda Jackson (Salisbury, MD), Natasha Cephas (Cambridge), Christina Patterson (North Carolina) and Willie Jean Turner (Salisbury, MD); her godchildren, Deja Thompson, Ayonna Newcomb, Nevin Wilcox and Andre Dawson; her close friend Calvin Wilcox; and her sisters, Valencia Staggs, Chakena Chestnut, Starlene Ames, Kim Wilkins and Valenda Dunaway. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.
