He is survived by: his mother Delores Ellen Wathen; his wife Susan "Sue" Campbell-Wathen; his daughter Meredith Ellen Wathen; his stepdaughters, Melinda Sue Blaine (Dwight) and Amanda Campbell; his siblings, Allen Wathen (Carol) and Susan Ann Wathen (Thomas Goldsborough, Jr.); and his granddaughter Alexandra Blaine.
