We are sad to announce that on January 4, 2025, at the age of 82, Gary Dean Morstad of Faulkner, Maryland passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let his loved ones carry forward the torch of his memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of his love and the brilliance of his spirit. Though Gary Dean may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lyle Irvin Morstad and Edith Mae Morstad. He is survived by: his wife Clara Morstad; his daughters, Marsha Morstad and Terri Morstad; his grandsons, Robert Hunsberger (Brittany), Ross Hunsberger and Royce Hunsberger; and his great grandchildren, Carter and Reid.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Raymond Funeral Service (5635 Washington Ave, La Plata, MD 20646).
