She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Sauer Sr. and Louise Sauer (Knott); and her grandson John F. Nowakowski, III. She is survived by: her sons, John Frank Nowakowski, Jr. (Theresa Gale) and Leonard C. Nowakowski, Sr.; her grandchildren, Danielle Marie Nowakowski Rose, Jennifer Marie Nowakowski Rodriguez and Leonard C. Nowakowski, Jr.; and her sister Marie Sauer Soul. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
