He was predeceased by: his parents, Rutger Colt and Augusta Colt. He is survived by: his wife Frances Colt; his children, John Colt, Jr. (Sheri), Timothy Colt and Jennifer Bailey (Joseph); and his brothers, Rutger Colt, Jr. and Trenny Colt.
